Friday To-Do: All Abord the Clean Energy Express in Fayetteville

Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor will soon head back to Washington, D.C., after a summer-long recess. Send them back with a mock train ticket aboard the “Clean Energy Express” and a clear mandate to pass a strong clean energy and climate bill this year!

Clean Air Arkansas, 1 Sky and other groups will hold a rally at noon, Friday, August 28 in front of the Student Union at the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville. The traveling rally will depart at 12:30 p.m. toward Dickson Street with Clean Energy & Green Jobs signs to demonstrate  support for American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009. Bring any locomotive related clothing, props, etc. (i.e. overalls, conductor hats, train whistles) as well as signs demonstrating your support for a clean future.
