Businesses, community advocates and Environment America will release a new study by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) detailing how improved energy efficiency policies could create thousands of jobs, save consumers money, and reduce fossil fuel dependency while reducing global warming pollution in Arkansas. The findings make the case that Senators Pryor and Lincoln should support strong energy efficiency provisions as part of climate and energy legislation.
- Alex Wall, Clean Energy Associate, Environment America
- Ken Smith, Executive Director, Audubon Arkansas
- Tom Fennell, Principal Architect, Fennell Purifoy & Associates
The event will be held at the Little Rock Audubon Nature Center, a state-of-the-art energy efficient building. Audubon staff will be available to tour the facility after the press conference.
