WHAT: Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks (BCO) Annual Meeting & Free Screening of VEER

WHEN: Sunday, Jan 10 – 2-4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Walker Community Room in Fayetteville Public Library

COST: $5 recommended donation to support the BCO and VEER movie.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

  • 2-2:15 p.m. – Sign-In and Introduction of New BCO Board Members
  • 2:15-4 p.m.-  Screening of VEER (The full-length feature movie, VEER, explores America’s fast-growing bicycling culture by profiling five people whose lives are inextricably tied to bicycling and the bike-centric social groups they belong to. The film follows these characters over the course of a year, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their personal struggles and triumphs. VEER examines what it means to be part of a community, and how social movements are formed.)
  • 4:00-4:10 p.m. – Introduction of Regional Long Range Transportation Plan
  • 4:10-4:40 p.m. – Public Input of favorite Bicycle Routes in Washington & Benton County. Maps and Markers will be available. Regional Planners need to know where you ride. Don’t miss your chance to have your favorite cycling route marked with Share the Road signage.
