WHAT: Climate Change Workshop & Advocacy Training – Audubon Advocacy Workshop & Lobby Day on Capitol Hill

WHO: People alarmed by climate change and its impacts on birds, wildlife, and humanity—people passionate about learning how you can be involved in advancing policy solutions to this global problem. People who want to act now to address these challenges. People like YOU!
WHAT: A three day workshop focused on grassroots, media, and lobby training that will equip you with the skills you need to be an effective advocate for solutions to climate change. You will learn how to communicate effectively with your elected officials and on the third day of the training you will have the opportunity to meet with your Representative and Senators or their staff on Capitol Hill. Following the training you will return home equipped with the skills and inspiration to continue working to help implement solutions to climate change.
WHEN, WHERE: Sunday, April 25 to Wednesday, April 28 in Washington , DC
HOW: Fill out the online application by Friday, March 12. Space is limited.
Audubon will fly you to Washington, provide you with hotel accommodations, and cover most meals. Registration is $150. You do not have to pay to apply.
