Volunteer at 2010 Bountiful Arkansas!

Every summer the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute (WRI) on Petit Jean Mountain hosts Bountiful Arkansas, a celebration of Arkansas’ farmers and food. This year’s event is bigger than ever, with a large variety of farm vendors, multiple workshops, expert-led garden tours, a food documentary track, great local food, nice bands, the infamous tomato tasting, kids activities, and more.

WRI is looking for volunteers to help out with the fun, which takes place on Friday-Saturday, July 16-17. If you are interested in helping out, contact Brittany Edwardes at bedwardes@uawri.org. All volunteers get a nice, local lunch prepared by WRI’s excellent restaurant plus all the benefits of the day.

  1. Thanks, Nao! Already getting some responses! 🙂

  2. Wow! I like the idea of the volunteering. I am civic charity member of Beta Sigma Phi. I will definitely let my fellow sista’s know of this! Maybe a chapter in AR can volunteer? We are always looking for opportunities.

EcoMech Green Company of Georgia I enjoyed reading your blog ! Thanks for the info!
