Wednesday To-Do: Building Vibrant Urban Areas

Oklahoma Convention and Visitors Bureau president Mike Carrier will give a lecture titled, “Building Vibrant Urban Areas, One Brick at a Time,” about his city’s efforts to revitalize “Bricktown,” a former warehouse district now home to a new minor league baseball park, a river walk and a number of restaurants, shops and nightspots. This lecture is part of “Place, Parks and Politics,” a four-week, outdoor speaker series in Little Rock’s River Market Pavilion co-hosted with the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau.
