Wednesday To-Do: Parks’ Place in the Urban Environment

Jodie Adams, director of the Springfield, Mo., parks system and president of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), will give a lecture titled, “Parks’ Place in the Urban Environment.” NRPA is the leading advocacy organization dedicated to the advancement of public parks and recreation opportunities. Adams has been with the parks system in Springfield, Mo., for 35 years and became director in 2006.

This lecture is part of “Place, Parks and Politics,” a four-week, outdoor speaker series in Little Rock’s River Market Pavilion co-hosted with the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau.
