Wanna maximize fuel economy? Then, slow down!
During our anniversary trip to Fayetteville, we noticed so many cars speeding on the highway. Did you know that faster you drive your car, more gas it uses?
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, gas mileage usually decreases rapidly at speeds above 60 mph. For every 5 mph you drive over 60 mph, you may be paying an additional $0.24 per gallon for gas. Ouch!
So, if you want to maximize your fuel economy, observe the speed limit and stop speeding!
