Pesto

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup basil leaves, tightly packed (leaves only)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp. pine nuts, toasted
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  1. In a food processor, add all ingredients except basil and cheese.
  2. Bled for 1 minute, then slowly add basil and blend for 2 minutes.
  3. Slowly add cheese while continuing to blend for an additional minute.
