Spaghetti Carbonara

  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 8 strips bacon, cut in ½-inch length
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 6 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
  • Coarse ground pepper
  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  2. Add pasta and cook as package directs.
  3. Meanwhile, cook bacon in a medium pot on low heat until crispy; do not discard bacon grease.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine whip cream, eggs, cheese, and pepper; stir until well mixed.
  6. Drain pasta and return to the pot with bacon, placing it back on low heat.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture.
  8. When the sauce starts to congeal, remove from heat; serve immediately.
  9. Makes 4 servings.
